We were very excited when this instrument arrived, and it's not difficult to see why. A sublime Model 1 built by Simon Fay in Florida, USA, this guitar combines exceptional materials with a wonderful modern lutherie design.
The Model 1 is the only model offered by Simon Fay, and it is his modern approach to a traditional OM. This particular instrument has a Master Grade Engelmann Spruce top paired with a visually stunning set of Mun ebony for the back and sides.
The guitar has a 25" scale length and is extremely comfortable to play thanks to the 1 25/32" nut width and familiar 2 1/4" string spacing at the saddle.
The guitar is decorated with ebony binding and ebony/maple purfling, as well as a wenge theme which encompases the wenge headstock veneer and wenge tile rosette.
The guitar is in excellent condition and comes with an Ameritage AME-S-11 hard case.
