Sell Your Guitar

Our third intake is now closed and we’re busy creating content for those guitars ready to publish on our Marketplace. We’re now accepting submissions for our fourth intake of instruments.

Do you have a guitar to sell?

At The Six String Collective, we specialise in selling pre-owned guitars on consignment, providing a personalised service designed to ensure a seamless and successful transaction for both sellers and buyers.

Our knowledge and experience of the luthier-built guitar world set us apart from other guitar retailers and allow us to provide a more suitable option to trying to find a buyer yourself privately.

Simply provide us with the details of your guitar on the form below and we’ll be in touch to discuss a potential sales value and to arrange logistics to get the guitar to our office.

Once we’ve received your guitar, we’ll get to work on creating content including product page photography to show the features and condition of your guitar, lifestyle photography for social media marketing and a demo video with a professional guitarist to showcase your instrument’s sonic prowess.

Your guitar will then be listed for sale on our website and we’ll market your guitar to our network of guitar collectors. Once a buyer is found, we’ll handle the logistics of getting the guitar to them and they’ll have 48 hours upon receipt of the instrument to ensure it’s right for them. If they decide to return it, we’ll handle the logistics of getting the guitar back to our office and the search for a buyer continues.  

When a sale is completed, we’ll then be in touch to arrange your payment and this will be paid to you in 3-5 working days.

All guitars are fully insured while in our possession and in transit.
