This gorgeous instrument is our second guitar to arrive from the workshop of Cornwall-based luthier Brendan O’Gorman.
This Newlands model is Brendan’s take on the dreadnought, with a sensational theme of Crelicam Ebony for the back and sides, fretboard, bridge and head cap, paired with an incredible set of Lost Tunnel redwood for the top.
We absolutely love the pink-themed decoration that Brendan has opted for on this Newlands, which includes pink rear head cap, heel cap, purfling and rosette. These details, along with the gorgeous textures that the Crelicam Ebony provide, means the guitar has a unique visual aesthetic.
The Newlands is a perfect choice for singer songwriters looking for an accompanying instrument to suit their voice without competing with it, but it is also an ideal choice as a solo instrument due to its full, warm bass, warm mid range and rounded trebles.
