MJ Franks is a name that should be more familiar than it is. Mike Franks of Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA builds Martin and Gibson-influenced traditional steel string acoustics, as well as ukuleles and resonators. His instruments have won many plaudits, with his guitars chosen by artists include Drew Holcomb & the Neighbors.

This 2010 MJ Franks Legacy D dreadnought guitar has been built with a master grade Adirondack spruce top and master grade East Indian Rosewood back and sides.

This is Mike’s Traditional Dreadnought shape with forward-shifted, scalloped bracing offering a huge bottom end and room filling presence.

The guitar is in excellent condition, with only a few marks to the headstock and some minute dings visible if caught in the right light. It includes in a hard shell case.
