Purchasing Policies

By purchasing from The Six-String Collective you are agreeing to the following policies:

All online purchases to UK-based clients include a 48-hour appraisal period that commences the day after the guitar is delivered.

Should you wish to return a guitar within the 48-hour appraisal period, a return request should be sent via email to info@thesixstringcollective.com.

Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, and a trackable courier service must be used. A 3.5% fee is applicable on all refunds, and the instrument must be returned in the identical condition in which it was sent.

A guitar cannot be returned if it has been customised in any way from the condition in which it was sent. This includes removing height from the saddle and recutting the nut.

Once a guitar has been returned and delivered back to us, please allow 24 hours for us to inspect the guitar and confirm acceptance of the return. A refund will then be sent within 48 hours.

Packaging a guitar for return shipping:

We take great pride in packing guitars ready for transit to a buyer, therefore please make a note of how the guitar is packaged and replicate this when repacking the instrument ready to be returned.  

Failure to use the same (or superior) packaging will void the return request and we will reject the return.
